Costa Lectern
The Costa Lectern is a versatile architectural fixture crafted from precision-formed sheet metal, designed to meet the diverse needs of public and professional spaces. Available in a compact single-presenter size or a larger format to accommodate integrated AV and technology requirements, the Costa Lectern blends durability with refined simplicity. Ideal for universities, schools, hotels, churches, and community centres, it offers a flexible, understated solution for both traditional and tech-enabled presentations. Add-on timber top can add warmth and tactility, while access doors provide storage or access to AV equipment and cabling.
Details
The units are fabricated from standard mild steel and powder-coated for interior environments. Costa Lecterns can also be treated with precious metal finishes such as brass, copper, chrome, and aged metal finishes, as well as bespoke materials to suit your project specifications. Custom Logo cutouts or branding may also be included in the design.
The profiles and dimensions are tailored to suit the ergonomic 95th percentile to ensure the broadest range of users will find lectern comfortable to use. The angle and height can also be adjusted through the glides at the bottom of the unit making it even easier to present a speech from or carry out other activities such as checking guests into hotels and restaurants.
Cable Management
The Costa Lectern includes a variety of power and data cable access holes through its internal shelf for things like laptop, tablet, receipt printer and other equipment charging. The internal shelves provide ample room for close to hand items. Through holes into the top can also be bespoke designed to provide direct mounting locations for items such as microphones and small reading lamps etc.
AV & Bespoke Considerations
Every Neatt Lectern can be tailored to suit the aesthetic and technical requirements of each project. Available in a wide range of Dulux and Interpon powder-coated finishes, the lectern is designed to accommodate bespoke AV integration, including configurable equipment shelves, mounting locations, cable management, access panels and power requirements.
We work closely with architects, AV consultants and installers to coordinate equipment clearances, fixing points and service integration, ensuring presentation technology is seamlessly incorporated without compromising the clean architectural form.
For applications requiring permanently hard-wired AV systems, integrated control equipment or fixed service connections, we generally recommend the a fixed platform. Its fixed installation provides the ideal foundation for permanent infrastructure, concealed cable routing and larger equipment configurations.
Where a mobile lectern is preferred for operational flexibility, the standard castors can be omitted or replaced with a floor-fixed solution. Our team can assist in developing project-specific mounting details and service integration that balance mobility, stability and long-term performance while maintaining the refined design language of the Neatt collection.
